In Game Master one player runs a live scenario for everyone else, and Combat Ops are co-op operations against bots.

Mods are a reason of their own to play Reforger. The workshop is built into the game: servers with new maps, vehicles and modes download everything they need automatically, and there is nothing to buy.

Spend your first evening on a Conflict server where commanders and squads talk over voice chat. Join a squad, listen to your squad leader and spend a couple of hours as a rifleman or a supply truck driver — it is the fastest way to learn how supplies, radio comms and map work fit together.
